Whether this is your first time selecting a child care center, or if you've followed the process at different times, having a checklist designed to help you make your choices will be useful.

Here are some recommendations that should be considered :

* What is the philosophy of the day care center? What are they trying to accomplish with the children they care for? Their responses on factors such as safety, psychological support, pleasure, or education should be acceptable to you.

* What is the ratio of staff to infant in their infant care program?

* Do they offer affordable after school activities and programs?

* What is their pre-school cirriculum and how the cirriculum is managed, administrated and updated?

* A child care center, should provide a safe, stimulating and educational for children, a place for children to grow into responsible members, serious and contributing to society.

* Young children should have the opportunity to grow physically, mentally, socially and intellectually by playing and exploring in a fun, secure and healthy environment.

* Check out any online reviews of people who have used the center. Do not be put off by one or two negative reviews,if the majority are favorable.

* Baby's safety and security is very important. Do features such as security cameras, staff ports of entry, telephones in each room, and a code for safe entry available to ensure safety? Or are they any standard operating manual for safety?.

* Food and nutrition - Does the facility have a full-service kitchen and certified employees?

* Does the facility offer you Net entry to watch youre kid's every day routines by viewing a password secured site?

* Are all staff certified in infant, toddlers and adult CPR?

Learn more about the child care center that you are considering. That should give you more assurance in the broader perspective.
